Animation Exercises – 2 – Heavy Ball
January 22, 2008I want to keep this regular, so here is number two of my animation exercises.
Once again real simple, but spheres are always fun to animate.
P.s I completely forgot to credit the the creator of the rig last time. It was made by Matt Ornstein, and you can get it here.
Animation Exercises – 1 – Bouncing Ball
January 20, 2008Alright…. ANIMATION!
The reason I got into cg was to animate, so I figured that it would be a good idea to start doing simple animation exercises and work my way up.
Kind of boring, I know. But you gotta walk before you can run right?
Long time no blog.
December 7, 2007I have been pretty busy lately so I haven’t done much cg.
I was thinking about it and this site isn’t much of a blog at all. I don’t really say much, I just post work in progress images. ![]()
Also, why can’t I finish a scene or model? All the stuff I have on here is unfinished. I think the reason is, I start a model or scene, and halfway into it I realize how I could have done something better. But instead of restarting it, I throw it out and try something else.
So for now I guess this site can be thought of as my journal not as a portfolio. Because there is not much to show at this time. Now instead of just posting an image, I will try to post what was difficult to do or what I feel can be done better on it. Also I will TRY not to restart something before its finished and also maybe go back and finish some of my previous stuff. Maybe it will make this place look a little tidier.
But until then heres a unfinished model. ;)
P.s Maxwell’s Cornell box is fun to play around with.

December 24, 2006I just got Xna a few days ago. And wow its amazing. Basically its a new thing from microsoft that allows you to make video games for the Xbox 360. Now before you go and download it and pay 99 dollars for the membership, it is very complicated to make a game. Not only with the 3d models but also the programming. If you know C# though and like Video Games you may want to look this up.
The image is the models from the Sample Scene that comes with Xna, I rendered it in modo.
